Lio Rush vs. Jacob Fatu signed for Philly 10/30 at MLW FIGHTLAND Get tickets starting at $15 at MLW2300.com

(PHILADELPHIA, PA) – Major League Wrestling today announced Lio Rush vs. Jacob Fatu for MLW FIGHTLAND '22 on Sunday, October 30 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.  Tickets start at $15 at MLW2300.com and the 2300 Arena box office.  The card is a FUSION TV taping, airing on beIN SPORTS nationwide on cable and dish and in over 60 countries around the world. Jacob Fatu said he was looking for a fight come Oct 30 in South Philadelphia but little did he know a free agent in the form of "The Man of the Hour" Lio Rush would step up and sign his name to the bout sheet. Part of a double main event FIGHTLAND card, Fatu vs. Rush promises to be an explosive collision.  A former MLW World Middleweight Champion, Lio Rush dominated MLW in 2020-21. A self described Fighting athlete, musician, artist and  influencer, Rush would grab headlines and be in the mix for a title match if he can defeat the "The most dangerous man on planet earth". In order to do so, Rush will have to channel his blistering speed with high octane innovation to overwhelm the near 300 pound former World Heavyweight Champion.     El Cicero Stadium de Chicago, Illinois, fue la casa del evento Emergence de Impact Wrestling. Como es peculiar, los fans de Chicago le metieron su sazón para que el mismo fuera todo un éxito. Josh Alexander retuvo su Impact World Championship al vencer en una lucha 5 estrellas al talentoso Alex Shelley con su C4 Spike. Fue un luchón al ras de la lona donde el intercambio de movidas fue la orden del día. Una locura total fue la lucha de 10 hombres entre Honor No More y el Bullet Club. Estos llevan semanas metidos en una guerra sin cuartel, y si Honor No More perdía, se tenían que desmantelar. Fue un todos contra todos y con todo, que resulto en triunfo para Honor No More (Eddie Edwards, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Kenny King y PCO) frente al Bullet Club (Karl Anderson, Doc Gallows, Ace Austin, Chris Bey y Hikuleo. La victoria llega cuando Taven le aplica el Climax a Gallows encima de un zafacón para el conteo de 3. Ahora Bennett y Taven van en busca de los campeonatos que tienen los Good Brothers. 

    Ante gritos de "Women Wrestling", Jordynne Grace retuvo su Impact Knockouts Championship al vencer a Mia Yim con su Grace Driver. Ambas mujeres lo dejaron todo en el ring y hasta intercambiaron movidas de otros luchadores como el Code Blue (Yim) y el Muscle Buster (Grace). Una lucha que metió el publico y que demostró el calibre de Impact en la rama femenina. Luego de la lucha, la rusa Masha Slamovich, lanzó un reto/amenaza a la campeona. Veremos si tienes los quilates de destronar a Grace. VXT (Deonna Purazzo y Chelsea Green) se coronaron las nuevas Impact Knockouts Tag Team Champions al vencer en una lucha Pre-Show a la dupla de Rosemary y Taya Valkyrie. Taya está en una mala racha.

    Entre gritos en español de "Esto es lucha"y los clásicos "Fight for Ever", los mexicanos Bandido y Rey Horus, se robaron el show. Fue un luchón, sin duda la mejor lucha de la noche, el resultado de la atracción traída por la empresa AAA. Bandido se apuntó el triunfo con su 21 Plex. Otra magistral lucha fue donde Mike Bailey retuvo su X-Division Championship ante el veterano Jack Evans. Ambos lucieron enorme en el ring y Bailey se apuntó el triunfo con una movida final donde sus rodillas cayeron en la espalda de Evans para el conteo de 3. Brian Myers volvió a retener, con trampa, su Digital Media Championship al vencer al joven prometedor Bhupinder Gujjar. Este muchacho no estará en paz hasta que no se desquite y le quite ese campeonato a Myers. Violet by Design (Deaner y Eric Young) se apuntaron un sólido triunfo ante la dupla de Chris Sabin y Kushida. Una buena lucha entre ambas parejas donde un Pile Driver de Eric Young la termina. En el segundo intento de lucha, Sami Callihan vence a Steve Maclin con su Pile Driver 97. En el primer intento de tener una lucha normal entre ambos terminó en un No Contest ya que estos comenzaron a pelear antes de que sonara la campana. Ellos siguieron peleando sin parar durante bastante tiempo entre bastidores y dentro el publico hasta que Scott D'Amore decidió que tuvieran una lucha NO DQ. Ambos sangraron, ambos de dieron con lo que encontraron, pero al final, Sami fue el ganador.

    Impact Wrestling (antiguo TNA) celebró sus 20 años de existencias con un tremendo evento desde el Nashville Fairground en Nashville, Tennessee. Una de las gratas sorpresas fue el video de felicitaciones que realizó AJ Styles con el permiso de la WWE. Sting y Kurt Angle también enviaron mensajes. El evento fue dedicado a Bob Ryder y contó con un precioso vídeo tributo a la dupla de comentaristas originales (DonWest y Mike Tenay). Josh Alexander comenzó los próximos 20 años como el Impact World Champion al vencer en magistral lucha a Eric Young. El final llegó con un C-4 de Josh sobre la madera espuesta de adentro del ring, luego de escuchar los eufóricos gritos de Fight for Ever! y This is Wrestling! Lucha 5 estrellas sin duda. El momento Holy Shit! fue cuando Josh le aplicó el Olympic Slam a Joe Doering. WOW!.

    Los Good Brothers se coronaron por 3era vez campeones de Parejas en Impact al vencer a los Briscoes con su Magic Killer en una buena lucha. Al Final de la misma America Most Wanted (Chris Harris y James Storm) bajaron con cervezas para celebrar con ambas parejas. Momento épico. En una de las mejores lucha de la noche; Jordynne Grace derrotó a Chelsea Green, Deonna Purrazzo, Mia Yim y Tasha Steelz en el Queen of the Mountain Match para coronarse como la nueva campeona Knockouts de Impact. Mickie James fue la special enforcer y se involucró en la la lucha en momento dado. El momento Holy Shit! cuando Mia Yim empuja la escalera donde Chelsea y Deonna estaban en el tope, logrando que ambas luchadoras cayeran encima de una mesa a las afuera del ring. Increíble! Ovación de pie para todas las Knockouts.

    Otra lucha que estuvo buenisima fue el Ultimate X Match de la División X. Mike Bailey se coronó nuevo campeón de la División X al vencer a Kenny King, Trey Miguel, Alex Zayne, Ace Austin, y Andrew Everett (quien reemplazó al lesionado Jack Evans). El momento Holy Shit llega cuando Trey Miguel le aplica un super Canadian Destroyer a Zayne desde el tope de la cuerda. WOW! Sami Callihan se desquitó de Moose derrotandolo en un agresivo Monster's Ball Match. Estos dos se dieron con todo lo que encontraron y duro. Los gritos de This is Awesome motivaron a los dos luchadores a dejarlo todo por los presentes. Rosemary y Taya Valkyrie vencieron a The Influence (Madison Rayne y Tenille Dashwood) para coronarse las nuevas campeonas Knockouts de Pareja. Un rodillazo de Taya seguida de la movida final de Rosemary fue lo que trajo el conteo de 3 para lograr los campeonatos. 

    Con Christy Hemme presentando la lucha y Dixie Carter presentando el luchador sorpresa (Davey Richards), los Impact Originals (Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Frankie Kazarian, Nick Aldis y Davey Richards) se apuntaron el triunfo sobre Honor No More (Eddie Edwards, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, PCO y Vincent). La lucha estuvo excelente y le añadió pique las intervenciones de Kenny King, D' Lo Brown, María Bennett y Staci Brooks (esposa de Kaz y una de las Knockouts originales de Impact). Y no puedo cerrar este escrito sin mencionar la aportación de Earl Hebner para el contero de 3 que le dio la victoria a los chicos de Impact. Gracias a toda la familia Hebner por su inmensa aportación al universo de la Lucha Libre.
