CLEVELAND CAVALIERS FINED $100,000
NEW YORK, Nov. 18, 2025 – The NBA announced today that the Cleveland Cavaliers have been fined $100,000 for violating the league’s Player Participation Policy. The violation occurred when the Cavaliers held Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley, who are both star players under the Policy, out of the team’s game against the Miami Heat on Nov. 12 for rest.
The Policy, which was adopted prior to the 2023-24 season, is intended to promote participation in the NBA’s regular season.

NBA Crossover returns as the league’s ultimate fan experience from Thursday, Feb. 12 through Sunday, Feb. 15 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, covering more than 300,000 square feet of all things NBA and pop culture. Fans can enjoy live music and viewing parties, more than 100 talent appearances and 40 unique activations, all highlighting the NBA’s deep connection to art, fashion, music and technology. Attendees will also have a front-row seat to action packed basketball programming at G League Park featuring the NBA G League 3-Point Contest and NBA G League AT&T Slam Dunk Contest on Feb. 14 and culminating with the NBA G League Next Up Game presented by AT&T on Feb. 15.
At NBA Crossover, fans can also step into NBA Creator Court, the league’s ultimate showcase for content creators, offering exclusive access to top social media stars across hoop culture, with meet and greets, hoop clinics, livestreams, fun basketball challenges and the PlayStation NBA Creator Cup.
At the heart of the experience is Crossover’s Hardwood Central –a festival-style destination featuring basketball-inspired games, local food trucks and a main stage hosting DJ sets and headline performances, including the Michelob ULTRA Courtside Concert on Friday night. PHOENIX’S BROOKS FINED
NEW YORK, Nov. 14, 2025 – Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks has been fined $25,000 for making a lewd gesture on the playing court, it was announced today by James Jones, Executive Vice President, Head of Basketball Operations.
The incident occurred with 54 seconds remaining in the second quarter of the Suns’ 133-98 win over the Indiana Pacers on Nov. 14 at Mortgage Matchup Center.
