Y comienza el 2.0 de NXT. Este War Games sin duda fue el showcase para el talento joven y en desarrollo de NXT tomar control de la marca. El New School 2.0 (Bron Breakker, Grayson Waller, Tony D’Angelo y Carmelo Hayes se apuntaron un tremendo triunfo dentro de la jaula ante Team Old School (Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Pete Dunne y LA Knight). Fue una verdadera guerra donde Breakker logra la victoria para su equipo con un Powerslam seguido de un Jack Hammer a Ciampa. This is Awesome!

El War Games de Mujeres también estuvo bueno con el momento Holy Shit! cuando metieron en un zafacón a Dakota Kai. La gente premio la lucha con un This is Awesome! Un plancha de Cora Jade le dio el triunfo a Team González (Kay Lee Ray, IO Shirai, Raquel González y por supuesto Cora Jade) sobre Team Kai (Dakota Kai y Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin, Jacy Jayne y Mandy Rose). Imperium sobrevivió una lucha llena de buenos falsos finales ante la dupla de Von Wagner & Kyle O’Reilly para retener sus campeonatos de Pareja en NXT. El imperium Bomb fue la movida del triunfo. Luego de la lucha Wagner y O’Reilly se pelean. Se acabó el amor entre ambos.

Cameron Grimes dejó con el coco pelao a Duke Hudson al derrotarlo en una divertida batalla Hair vs Hair. Grimes sigue metiendóse al público en el bolsillo. En una magistral lucha de veterano vs novato, Roderick Strong llevó a la escuelita a Joe Gacy para retener su Cruiserweight Champioship.
