#Tacleando La NFL: Eagles se llevan el Super Bowl y la NFL repartes sus premios...



PHILADELPHIA EAGLES QB NICK FOLES WINS PETE ROZELLE TROPHY AS SUPER BOWL LII MOST VALUABLE PLAYER
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback NICK FOLES was voted the winner of the Pete Rozelle Trophy, awarded to the Super Bowl LII Most Valuable Player. 
Foles completed 28 of 43 pass attempts for 373 yards with three touchdowns and one interception for a 106.1 passer rating. He is the third quarterback to start and win the Super Bowl after starting three or fewer games in the regular season, joining DOUG WILLIAMS (Washington, Super Bowl XXII) and JEFF HOSTETLER (New York Giants, Super Bowl XXV). 
Foles, who also had a one-yard touchdown reception from tight end TREY BURTON, is the first player in NFL history with a touchdown pass and a touchdown catch in a Super Bowl. He is the only quarterback in NFL history to have a 100+ passer rating in each of his first four career postseason starts (minimum 20 attempts per game).
Foles threw the game-winning 11-yard touchdown pass to tight end ZACH ERTZwith 2:21 remaining in the fourth quarter. 
The award is chosen by a panel of 16 comprised of members of the Pro Football Writers Association of America, selected members of the electronic broadcast media and by fans interactively through the National Football League’s official website, NFL.com. 




 AWARDS FOR THE 2017 NFL SEASON
ANNOUNCED AT NFL HONORS 
The night before the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles meet in Super Bowl LII, the National Football League handed out awards from the 2017 season at NFL HONORS – a two-hour primetime awards special recognizing the best players, performances and plays. The show will air nationally tonight at 9 PM ET/PT on NBC.
In addition, the newest PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME class was announced and introduced during the show with the Class of 2018 appearing on stage at Northrop at the University of Minnesota.

Tacleando la NFL: Resumen de la Semana #5 en la NFL

Tacleando la NFL-Semana #5

            Comienza la 5ta semana de la NFL con los Patriots derrotando 19-14 a los Buccaneers gracias a un TD de Tom Brady junto a 4-4 de field goals por la pierna de Stephen Gostkowski. AJ Green atrapó 7 balones con un TD y un total de 189 yardas en la victoria 20-16 de los Bengals sobre los Bills. Josh McCown lanzó dos TD y Chandler Catanzaro logró un field goal de 57 yardas en la victoria 17-14 de los Jets sobre los Browns. Cam Newton lanzó 3 TD en la victoria 27-24 de sus Panthers sobre los Lions. Adam Vinatieri logró un field goal de 51 yardas faltando 1:38 del tiempo extra para darle la victoria 26-23 a los Colts sobre los 49ers. Un pase de Jay Cutler a las manos de Jarvis Landry le dio la victoria 16-10 a los Dolphins sobre los Titans. Philip Rivers lanzó 3 TD para darle la victoria 27-22 a sus Chargers sobre los Giants y detener la racha de 9 derrotas seguidas. Odell Beckham Jr. (Giants) salió lastimado del juego mientras que el boricua Jonathan Casillas realizó un tacle, el mismo fue solo.
            Carson Wentz sigue caliente con 4 TD lanzados para que sus Eagles dominaran 34-7 a los Cardinals. Leonard Fournette corrió para dos TD con 181 yardas en la victoria 30-9 de los Jaguars sobre los Steelers. La defensa de los Jaguars le interceptó 5 pases y le propinó dos sacks a Ben Roethlisberger. Rush TD’s de Javorius Allen y Vince Mayle le dio la victoria 30-17 a los Ravens sobre los Raiders. La defensa de los Seahawks y 3 field goals de Blair Walsh le dieron la victoria 16-10 sobre los Rams. Aaron Rodgers lanzó 3 TD, incluyendo uno a las manos de Davante Adams, faltando un segundo de juego, para vencer del buche 35-31 a los Cowboys. En la derrota el QB Dak Prescott lanzó 3 TD y corrió para uno adicional. Alex Smith lanzó 3 TD y Tyreek Hill logró un punt return TD de 82 yardas para que los Chiefs vencieran 42-34 a los Texans. En la derrota el QB Deshaun Watson lanzó 5 TD, 3 de ellos a DeAndre Hopkins. El estelar JJ Watt salió lastimado del juego y es posible que pierda el resto de la temporada. En el clásico juego del lunes; los Vikings derrotaron 20-17 a los Bears gracias a un field goal de 26 yardas faltando 12 segundos de juego de la pierna de Kai Forbath. Los Falcons, Broncos, Saints y Redskins recibieron el BYE de esta semana.
