    NXT nos regaló 6 excelentes luchas en Battleground. Carmelo Hayes en la lucha estelar retuvo su NXT Championship al vencer a Bron Breakker en una magistral lucha con un excelente final. Tiffany Stratton se convirtió en la nueva NXT Women's Champion al vencer a Lyra Valkyria con su movida final y ante el asombro de muchos. La era de Stratton comenzó muy pronto en NXT. Gallus retuvieron sus campeonatos de Parejas en NXT al vencer a los Creed Brothers con su movida final luego de la ayuda que les brindó Ava de The Schism. Ava es la hija de The Rock. Ava atacó a Ivy Nile para crear la distracción. 

    En un brutal Last Man Standing, Ilja Dragunov derrotó a Dijak. Fue una brutal y sangrienta lucha entre ambos. Dragunov se cortó feamente la barbilla luego de lanzarse a la mesa que Dijak aguantaba. Ilja se tiró un coast to coast hacia unos steps frente de Dijak. Estos dos usaron sillas, mesas, kendo Sticks y steps para infligirse daño severo que las marcas se notaban en sus cuerpos. Con un bestial puño en la parte de atrás de la cabeza de Dijak fue que Dragunov logró la victoria. Un triunfo el cual pagó un alto precio. 

    Wes Lee sobrevivió una brutal lucha contra Tyler Bate y Joe Gacy para retener su NXT North America Championship. Sin duda este fue el luchón de la noche y Wes logra el conteo de tres con una impresionante doble patada. Noam Dar retuvo su Heritage Cup Champion al vencer a Dragon Lee 2 caídas a 1 con la ayuda de Lash Legend. Dar siempre se sale con la suya, pero Lee busca venganza.

In Bullet Train, Brad Pitt stars as Ladybug, an unlucky assassin determined to do his job peacefully after one too many gigs gone off the rails. Fate, however, may have other plans, as Ladybug's latest mission puts him on a collision course with lethal adversaries from around the globe – all with connected, yet conflicting, objectives – on the world's fastest train...and he's got to figure out how to get off. From the director of Deadpool 2, David Leitch, the end of the line is only the beginning in a wild, non-stop thrill ride through modern-day Japan. With a screenplay by Zak Olkewicz based on the book by Kotaro Isaka, the film also stars Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada, Michael Shannon, Benito A Martínez Ocasio (Puerto Rican artist known as Bad Bunny, who is also a huge wrestling fan) and Sandra Bullock.   A wrestler, inspired by Bad Bunny’s “The Wolf”-character from the film, will be a part of the second match of the night at Summer Sabotage. Additionally, the dangerously cute and mysterious mascot Momomon will also make a special appearance at the event, plus fans in attendance will get to see the film’s trailer, special footage, and more!

En un abarrotado Madison Square Garden en New York City, New York, las empresas Ring of Honor y New Japan Pro Wrestling se unieron para dar un magistral evento luchístico. Veteranos, leyendas y talento joven se unieron para deleitar a los presentes con pura lucha libre. Un evento excelente, de buenas luchas, continuaciones de historias y momentos inolvidables. Sin duda un 10!

La lucha estelar fue un clásico entre Jay White vs Kazuchika Okada por el campeonato Heavyweight IWGP. Estos dos dejaron hasta el alma dentro del ring y mantuvieron al borde de las silas a los presentes con cada espectacular movida y en cada falso final. Okada venció a White con su Rainmaker. Que luchón!

Otra lucha espectacular fue la batalla de escaleras por el campeonato Mundial de ROH entre Jay Lethal, Marty Scurll y Matt Taven. De más está decir que llevaron la lucha a otro nivel y hasta un fanático recibió un golpe con una de las escaleras. Se dieron duro y con todo lo que encontraron. Al final, Taven logra coronarse el nuevo campeón de ROH al agarrar el campeonato. Lo bueno de este final es que abre la historia para luchas individuales ante Scurll y Lethal.

Si las dos luchas anteriores fueron buenas, Tetsuya Naito vs Kota Ibushi por el campeonato Intercontinental de la IWGP fue la mejor de la noche. Los gritos euforicos de This is awesome! Holy shit! Fight for ever! se dejaron sentir por todo el Garden para agradecer la labor de estas dos estrellas dentro del ring. Ibushi se apuntó el triunfo y se coronó el nuevo campeón Intercontinental. Mega luchón!

En la guerra de título vs título, Jeff Cobb derrotó con su Tour of the Island a Will Ospreay para coronarse nuevo campeón del Never Openweight, y retener su campeonato Mundial de la TV (ROH). Otra gran lucha dentro del mega cartel. Rush venció rápidamente con Drop Kicks a Dalton Castle. Castle luego de la lucha se desquitó la derrota atacando a sus Boys. Fue una lucha demasiada de corta para un luchador como Castle, lo que me lleva a pensar que estaba lesionado.

Dragon Lee se coronó campeón JR Heavyweight de la IWGP al vencer a Taiji Ishimori y Bandido en una magistral lucha. Movidas áreas y falsos finales hicieron de está lucha de las mejores del cartel. Se escucharon los gritos de This is Awesome! para aplaudir su labor dentro del ring. Zack Sabre Jr. retuvo su campeonato British Heavyweight de RPW al derrotar por sumisión al gran Hiroshi Tanahashi. De más está decir que fue una clase de lucha libre para los presentes.

Una de las luchas más interesantes de la noche fue la batalla por los campeonatos de Parejas de las compañías ROH y IWGP, donde el ganador se llevaba todos las fajas. Guerrillas of Destiny (GOD) derrotaron a la dupla de Evil & Sanada, a la dupla de PCO & Brody King y a los Briscoes, en tremenda lucha. Lo interesante fue ver que desde el público se mentieron los luchadores conocidos en WWE como Big Cass y Enzo Amore. Estos dos se pelearon con algunas parejas, como los Briscoes, en las afueras del ring, mientras continuaba la lucha. Se vio hasta Bully Ray salir corriendo para intervenir. Será libreto o realidad?

Kelly Klein se coronó la nueva campeona de Mujeres en ROH al vencer a Mayu Iwatani con su movida final; pero luego de la lucha aparecieron Angelina Love y Velvet Sky para juntarse con Mandy Leon y atacar a Klein. Este nuevo trío de bellezas se llama The Allure. Estas tres bellezas prometen dar candela en ROH. El New York City Street Fight entre Bully Ray vs Juice Robinson se volvió un 3 vs 3 cuando intervinieron Taylor y Silas por Ray y Haskins junto a Flip Gordon por Juice. El 3 vs 3 estuvo buenísimo y deleito a los presentes, en especial aquellos que le gusta el hardcore. Flip, Haskins y Robinson se alzaron con el triunfo luego de usar sillas, mesas, candlesticks y hasta una cadena.

En las luchas Pre-Show; Kenny King fue el ganador del Honor Rumble, el cual contó con las leyendas Jushin Liger y The Great Muta. El trío de Kagetsu, Jenny Rose y Hazuki derrotaron a Stella Grey, Hana Kimura y Sumie Sakai.
