MLW Fusion Preview for this Thursday on Tubi |
|
| | MLW Fusion delivers a loaded night of championship combat this Thursday at 8 PM ET, streaming free on Tubi. Killer Kross addresses the fallout from a shocking defeat, Shotzi defends the Women’s World Championship against STARDOM’s Rina, and “The Rude Dude” Matt Riddle enters the Opera Cup against Glasgow’s Mark Coffey. With Saturday Night SuperFight approaching, rivalries are intensifying — and a cryptic message that has haunted Fusion for weeks is about to become something much bigger. Line-Up for MLW FusionMLW Women’s World Championship: Shotzi (champion) vs. Rina Opera Cup Opening Round: “The Rude Dude” Matt Riddle vs. Mark Coffey Lightning Match: Love Doug vs. Okumura Killer Kross and Scarlett address the MLW Nation Josef Samael reveals the origins of CONTRA’s Russian war machine ZAMAYA arrives hungry for competition CJ Gallows’ scheduled MLW singles debut The mystery behind Fusion’s cryptic transmissions deepens
Killer Kross Addresses the MLW NationJosh Bishop did what no one else in MLW had accomplished: pin Killer Kross. Now the World Heavyweight Champion arrives with Scarlett at his side and unfinished business hanging over the championship picture. Bishop’s breakthrough has shaken the league, but Donovan Dijak has ambitions of his own and little interest in letting another Skyscraper command the spotlight. With Saturday Night SuperFight drawing closer, Kross takes the microphone before the MLW Nation. What does the champion have to say about the man who beat him, and what will it mean for MLW’s biggest night of the year? Shotzi vs. Rina: Women’s World ChampionshipHATE has its sights locked on MLW gold. After STARDOM’s victory over Shotzi and Lady Frost in New York, the Pink Devil, Rina, challenges the Ballsy Badass for the MLW Women’s World Championship. Shotzi has never backed away from a fight, but Rina brings a ruthless blend of technical precision, punishing offense, and HATE’s win-at-any-cost mentality. The champion will need to unleash everything in her arsenal against a challenger determined to take the title to Japan. Expect a furious international collision with championship gold hanging in the balance. Matt Riddle vs. Mark Coffey: Opera Cup Opening Round“The Rude Dude” Matt Riddle enters the Opera Cup for the first time, and Glasgow’s hooligans are ready to spoil the occasion. Mark Coffey stands between Riddle and the quarterfinals, with Joe Coffey and Wolfgang adding a dangerous presence at ringside. Coming off the punishing New York City Street Fight, Riddle must contend with a bruising opponent and GBOT’s willingness to bend every rule within reach. His devastating strikes, explosive suplexes, and submission arsenal make him a threat to anyone in the tournament, but Glasgow rarely fights fair. Can the Rude Dude begin his pursuit of the historic trophy with a victory? A Cryptic Message Comes Into FocusFor weeks, mysterious transmissions have interrupted Fusion, leaving the MLW Nation searching for answers. Something has been building beneath the surface, and this Thursday, the signal becomes clearer. Who is behind the messages, and what do they want with MLW? Keep your eyes on Fusion as the mystery takes its next explosive turn. The Origins of CONTRA’s Russian War MachineJosef Samael reveals the story behind Masha, CONTRA’s formidable Russian war machine. From unforgiving winters to the punishing discipline of sambo, the Serpent details what forged the soldier now marching under CONTRA’s flag. With the unit threatening MLW on multiple fronts, Masha adds another devastating weapon to Samael’s arsenal. Her origins offer a chilling glimpse into the danger facing the women’s division — and the mission driving CONTRA’s newest force. Love Doug vs. Okumura: Lightning MatchLove Doug returns to MLW, but there will be little warmth waiting across the ring. CONTRA’s Okumura brings veteran cunning and a punishing submission arsenal into a Lightning Match with a strict ten-minute time limit. With Ikuro Kwon accompanying Okumura, Doug must keep his eyes on more than the man he is facing. Every second matters, and every opening could be a trap. Can Doug make a winning return, or will CONTRA leave him heartbroken? ZAMAYA Arrives Hungry for CompetitionUndefeated and increasingly impossible to ignore, ZAMAYA will be in the arena hungry for competition. Major League Z has bulldozed every obstacle placed before her, turning devastating power into a calling card that the entire women’s division has been forced to respect. With championship contenders and international threats crowding the ranks, ZAMAYA is ready to remind everyone why she belongs in the conversation. Whoever steps into her path had better be prepared for impact. CJ Gallows’ Scheduled Singles DebutCJ Gallows is scheduled to make his MLW singles debut as the next generation steps toward the spotlight. The 18-year-old son of Doc Gallows enters a league where family history may open a door, but every victory must be earned. With the Glasgow Boys targeting the Good Brothers, the young newcomer arrives amid a bitter rivalry. Keep an eye on CJ as he prepares to begin his own journey in MLW. “Heavy is the crown, but legacy isn't handed to you... it’s forged under pressure,” said Blanchard. “I’ve earned my place as one of the best in the world at what I do, but I’m not coming to MLW to rest on the Blanchard name. Killer Kross vs. Josh Bishop: Last Man Standing World Title Fight Set for Saturday Night SuperFight |
|
| |
Bishop has already pinned the champion. On November 7, he must put Kross down for good—LIVE on pay-per-view exclusively on VEEPS.
Major League Wrestling today announced MLW World Heavyweight Champion Killer Kross vs. Josh Bishop in a Last Man Standing match at Saturday Night SuperFight on Saturday, November 7, LIVE worldwide on pay-per-view exclusively on VEEPS from sold-out Cicero Stadium in Chicago. Fans can pre-order MLW’s signature pay-per-view now on VEEPS.
Their first World Championship fight left Bishop bloodied and the ring stripped to its boards. Kross survived that No Holds Barred encounter by choking the challenger unconscious with the Kross Jacket, but the “Intense Icon” emerged determined to force another fight.
Then, in New York City, Bishop did what no one in MLW had done before: he pinned Killer Kross.
Competing alongside Donovan Dijak against Kross and Matt Riddle in a New York City Street Fight, Bishop absorbed the champion’s Diamond Cutter, answered with Exit 187 and secured the three-count. Four years of Kross never being pinned in an MLW ring ended at Bishop’s hands. Suddenly, the challenger’s pursuit of the World Heavyweight Championship carried something far more dangerous than ambition: proof.
Addressing the defeat on Fusion, Kross acknowledged Bishop’s ability and advocated for another championship opportunity. Even as Dijak attempted to claim credit for the victory and push himself to the front of the line, the champion made clear who had earned the fight.
MLW officials agreed. As announced by Rich Bocchini on Fusion, Bishop will get his rematch at Saturday Night SuperFight—with a stipulation that demands a decisive ending.
There will be no pinfalls and no submissions. To leave Chicago with the MLW World Heavyweight Championship, one man must render the other unable to answer the referee’s ten-count.
For Bishop, this is the opportunity to finish what he started and turn the biggest victory of his career into a championship breakthrough. For Kross, it is a test of his reign against a challenger who has already endured his punishment, pushed him to the limit and put his shoulders on the mat.
Their first title fight ended with Bishop unconscious. Their next encounter ended with Kross pinned. In Chicago, the championship belongs to the last man standing.
Saturday Night SuperFight is sold out. The only way to watch LIVE worldwide is on VEEPS. Pre-order now and watch November 7 on the VEEPS app, your favorite streaming device or VEEPS.com. |
