4-way AAA Luchadora Eliminator signed for Super Series in Atlanta Sept 18
Who will win a shot at Taya Valkyrie's World Featherweight Title?

(ATLANTA, GA) – Major League Wrestling today announced a AAA luchadores eliminator: Lady Shani vs. Lady Flammer vs. La Hiedra vs. Reina Dorado for MLW: SUPER SERIES'22 presented by MLA from greater Atlanta on Sunday, September 18 at the Space Event Center at 6100 Live Oak Pkwy in Norcross, Georgia 30093.

The card is a FUSION TV taping, airing on beIN SPORTS nationwide on cable and dish and in over 60 countries around the world.

The world's grandest lucha libre organization, AAA, is sending FOUR of its top luchadoras to the inter-promotional Super Series'22... and there's a golden carrot for the winner of this 4-way eliminator: the winner will challenge Taya Valkyrie for the Women's World Featherweight Championship!

Lady Shani, a 2-time AAA Reina de Reinas Champion claims to be the perfect combo of beauty and violence and she backs it up, not hesitating to use anything not nailed down. Deceptive with her fighting styles, Shani can transition from hardcore brawling to technical wrestling, which makes her a difficult threat to decode.

Lady Flammer, a second generation luchadora from Monterrey, Nuevo León, México is one of Mexico's most promising new luchadoras. At just 22, she has already claimed the mask and hair of several luchadoras. From Tijuana to Monterrey and all points in-between, Lady Flammer has quickly ignited a path of dominance.

La Hiedra, competing in AAA since 2015, Hiedra is a staple of the  promotion. Known as "La Nueva Reyna del Escandalo," which translates to The New Queen of Scandal." A part of the famed Chicano Dynasty, Hiedra is quite possibly a favorite to win the eliminator and challenge Taya.

Last but not least there's Reina Dorada, a black belt martial artist with a vicious background in striking, including a deadly roundhouse kick. A BJJ and Tae Kwon Do practitioner, Dorada brings a unique dimension to her fights, often not seen in lucha libre.

Who will have their hand raised in victory and punch their ticket to a title shot against Taya Valkyrie's World Featherweight Championship?

The Mac is Major League. South Central LA's self-proclaimed "chocolate thunder" has set his MLW debut for September 18th in Atlanta in a big bout as two of the west coast's finest rumble.

A talented fighter, blending lucha, technical and high-flying, the charismatic Mack has been a standout everywhere he's competed.

From claiming IMPACT's X-Division championship to tours of Lucha Libre AAA in Mexico, Willie Mack is a savvy and unpredictable competitor... and he'll need these qualities and his experience when he steps foot into the ring against the "Samoan Werewolf" Fatu.

The "Samoan Smashing Machine" has been on a path of destruction, dominating all in recent competition, earning wins over Mads Krugger and Bestia 666 in recent months.

A perennial top ranked fighter in MLW, Fatu welcomes the challenge and unique dimension Willie Mack brings to the ring.

The debut puts Willie Mack in the deep end in his first night in MLW. Will he make a big splash with a big win?

Microman, Laredo Kid & Komander vs. Taurus, Gino Medina & Mini Abismo Negro signed for Super Series in Atlanta Sept 18
Mixed trios match set for MLW’s debut in Atlanta

(ATLANTA, GA) – Major League Wrestling today announced a trios bout featuring Laredo Kid, Komander & Microman vs. Gino Medina, Taurus & Mini Abismo Negro at MLW: SUPER SERIES'22 presented by MLA from greater Atlanta on Sunday, September 18 at the Space Event Center at 6100 Live Oak Pkwy in Norcross, Georgia 30093.

It will be an Evento Especial as AAA and MLW join forces to present a mixed trios match at Super Series'22.

Gino Medina captains a rudos team with one mission: defeat and destroy Microman.

A thorn in the side of "El Intocable" since January, Microman has reversed Gino's dynastic-like momentum, including the "World's Greatest Wonder" scoring a pinfall over Medina.

Consumed by his bitterness and obsessed by ending the popular Microman's meteoric rise in MLW, Medina journeyed to Mexico where for months he sought out the most ruthless, dangerous luchador to join his battle alongside Mini Abismo Negro.

Medina would find such a beast in Torreón, Coahuila de Zaragoza.

A brute combatant known for his savage, blunt destruction of all in his path, Taurus has is feared throughout Mexico for his barbaric ways. Craving the blood of his adversaries and fascinated by Microman, Taurus has taken up arms in joining Gino Medina's cause.

However, this dark trio will be met with resistance as Laredo Kid and Komander have vowed to get Microman's back in this mixed trios collision.

A decorated AAA main eventer, Laredo Kid made his MLW debut in 2019 and nearly won the MLW World Middleweight Title in 2021.

Komander, an emerging star in the AAA promotion, is a combination of spectacular speed and innovation.

Will Gino Medina end Micromania in MLW? Find out in Atlanta at MLW Super Series'22.

Davey Richards vs. SB KENTo for National Openweight Championship at Super Series in Atlanta Sept 18
Interpromotional title fight set for MLW’s debut in Atlanta

(ATLANTA, GA) – Major League Wrestling today announced an inter-promotional National Openweight Championship bout featuring DRAGONGATE's SB KENTo vs. Davey Richards (champion) at MLW: SUPER SERIES'22 presented by MLA  from greater Atlanta on Sunday, September 18 at the Space Event Center at 6100 Live Oak Pkwy in Norcross, Georgia 30093.

The card is a FUSION TV taping, airing on beIN SPORTS nationwide on cable and dish and in over 60 countries around the world.

Two master technicians will fight for the first-time ever as the rising star of DRAGONGATE SB KENTo challenges for his first championship in America.

Davey Richards has defended the National Openweight Championship against threats from New Japan Pro Wrestling and the NWA and upon hearing of DRAGONGATE's presence in the Super Series, the hunt was on for the "American Wolf" to make it a trifecta with DRAGONGATE.

Determined to defend the National Openweight Title against anyone anywhere, Richards worked with league officials over the past few weeks to lock in a title fight for Super Series. Now that bout is set.

Mr. Toru Kido, CEO of DRAGONGATE, has authorized SB KENTo to challenge for the title, with MLW CEO Court Bauer and Cesar Duran signing off on the inter-promotional championship bout this morning.

Representing DRAGONGATE and the infamous Z-Brats, SB KENTo  is a former Open The Twin Gate Champion, a two-time Open The Brave Gate Champion and an Open The Triangle Gate Champion. All belts won in a mere 3 year window, made even more impressive given he debuted in 2019.

Aligned with Shun Skywalker, KENTo is a technical force, crushing skulls with his brainbuster, “SBK” is also known to end matches with his brilliant bridging straight jacket German suplex and sharpshooter.

Will SBK bring gold home to Kobe, Japan? Find out in Atlanta at MLW Super Series'22.

DRAGONGATE's Shun Skywalker vs. Myron Reed for World Middleweight Championship at Super Series in Atlanta Sept 18
Interpromotional title fight set for MLW’s debut in Atlanta

(ATLANTA, GA) – Major League Wrestling today announced DRAGONGATE's Shun Skywalker vs. Myron Reed for the MLW World Middleweight Championship at MLW: SUPER SERIES'22 presented by MLA  from greater Atlanta on Sunday, September 18 at the Space Event Center at 6100 Live Oak Pkwy in Norcross, Georgia 30093.

The card is a FUSION TV taping, airing on beIN SPORTS nationwide on cable and dish and in over 60 countries around the world.

After Shun Skywalker called out the Young GOAT and mocked the reigning 3-time World Middleweight Champion, Reed took to social media this morning to formally accept the DRAGONGATE fighter's challenge. Watch: https://youtu.be/OzK-nX0ZUzg.

League officials moved quickly in drafting a bout sheet for the big interpromotional title fight with contracts being sent to the DRAGONGATE office in Kobe, Japan before noon eastern today.

Now, it is official: Skywalker will walk into Atlanta on September 18 at the Super Series and challenge Reed for the title!

Representing DRAGONGATE and the infamous Z-Brats, Shun Skywalker is a former Open The Dream Gate Champion. Heralded as arguably the best wrestler in Japan, if not in the entire sport itself, Skywalker is perhaps in a league of his own.

The cross-promotional summit will feature the participation of Major League Wrestling, the cutting-edge Kobe, Japan promotion DRAGONGATE and the grandest Mexican lucha libre promotion in the world: Lucha Libre AAA.

Will Reed vanquish one of world's best wrestlers in Skywalker? Or will the dark, maniacal masked Japanese wrestler bring gold back to DRAGONGATE? Find out in Atlanta at MLW Super Series'22.

About Lucha VaVOOM:

For almost 20 years, Lucha VaVOOM (LVV) has been delivering arguably the most electrifying show on earth with a mind-blowing mix of Mexican masked wrestling, burlesque, and comedy. Founded in Los Angeles in 2002 by Rita D’Albert and Liz Fairbairn, LVV -- voted Los Angeles’ “Best Burlesque Show” by LA Weekly in 2012 and 2013 -- is good vs. evil played out in quick, exhibition-style, one-fall lucha libre matches for maximum enjoyment and action. LVV has created a Los Angeles tradition: from the low rider car parade escorting in performers as the crowd enters the iconic Mayan Theatre, to the local luminaries it attracts (Drew Carey, Jack Black, and more have sat in), to burlesque (which was revived in Los Angeles), to lucha libre, where masked heroic wrestlers, in character-driven style, flip, fly, and amaze. It all comes together to make for one fun, surreal, glam-bam spectacle of raucous entertainment. You could say it’s a wrestling show for people that don’t like wrestling (and those that do). Says the Los Angeles Times, “Far-out flamboyance always prevails at Lucha VaVOOM, a spectacle of Mexican freestyle wrestling with an L.A. twist.”

At LVV, they like a little sexo with their violencia. In between matches, the finest handpicked burlesque acts from around the world wow the crowds with their unique striptease skills, including raucous aerial acts, daredevil roller-skate girls, and Guinness-World-Record-holding hula hoop hotties. The Los Angeles-based performance troupe has regularly sold out 1,000-seat venues across the globe (including in Amsterdam, Calgary, Toronto, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Philadelphia, and many more), plus they’ve performed at Fuji Rock Festival in Japan and Big Day Out Festival in Australia, and call Los Angeles’ Mayan Theatre -- an elaborately appointed, 1927-built former motion-picture palace -- home when not on the road.

LVV has been featured on EllenESPN, Jimmy KimmelBRAVO’s Top Chef MastersCNNCBS National NewsBBCVICE, and KCRW, among many others. In 2018, TV4 Entertainment released their award-winning documentary, Lucha VaVOOM: Inside America’s Most Outrageous Show ─ click here to watch the trailer.

Thrillist

“…no one that puts on a better lucha libre show than the folks at Lucha VaVOOM. Far wackier and wilder than most professional wrestling…Lucha VaVOOM lets its freak flag fly…”

- Nerdist

“Lucha VaVOOM is an underground celebration of all things perfect in this world…Lucha VaVOOM is what will pass for primetime entertainment when the polar ice caps finally melt and there’s not a single drop of oil left to be squeezed from the planet. In the post-apocalyptic future Lucha VaVOOM’s mix of ‘sexo y violencia’ will replace the Super Bowl, the Internet, and daytime television as humanity’s primary form of entertainment.”
